Due to an intensive interaction with the rest of the world, the Arabic language is rapidly changing its syntax, lexicon and style. This rapid change comes in the shape of hundreds of lexemes that were innovated and are regularly used in Media Arabic, but not registered in modern dictionaries.
 
This lexicon is an extension to Hans Wehr's Dictionary, as it contains innovations of lexemes that appeared after Hans Wehr's last edition in 1995; It also expands on linguistic developments to some terms found in Hans Wehr’s Dictionary.
 
This Lexicon is sorted according to the Arabic root, followed by words derived from this root or by compound nouns that contain it, and finally followed by a transcription in Latin letters.
